Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages by 8.8%
  • Increase of the remuneration for motor-manual logging by 8.8%
  • Increase of chainsaw allowance (

    ) by 8.7%


Minimum wage / minimum salary
EUR 2,106.11


Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 8.17 per hour
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 9.97 per hour
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 11.75 per hour


Supplements and allowances
Tools and chainsaw allowance (lump-sum compensation for use of own tools and chainsaws) as well as reimbursement of travel expenses


Working time
The
regular working time is 40 hours per week
.
Supplement for extra hours
:
  • For each hour worked overtime in addition to the specified regular working time, taking into account the flexible worktime scheme over the reference period of 52 weeks, a supplement of
    50%
    is due.
  • A supplement of 100 % on hourly wages is due for extra work on Sundays and public holidays.


Notice periods
Employment relationships entered into for an indefinite period of time may be terminated
in mutual agreement
at the end of each month with a notice period of 14 days. After one year, the notice period increases to one month, after five years to two months and after 15 years to three months.


Please note: Expiry of claims
Any claims to remuneration, compensation for expenses and severance pay and/or reclaim thereof lapse six months after they arose unless asserted in writing. The annual leave entitlement lapses after two years starting from the end of the annual leave year in which it accrued.


Other results achieved regarding socio-political aspects
e.g. remuneration in case of inability to work, leisure time of employees with an agricultural property, firewood procurement.
