Minimum wage / minimum salary

Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 914.00
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,176.00
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,699.00
4th year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,699.00


Supplements and allowances
Supplements and allowances for forklift drivers, drivers of milk tankers, sole drivers of lorries and articulated lorries, allowances related to long-term employment.


Working time
The regular working time is 38.5 hours per week
.
Supplement for extra hours
: usually 50%, during specified times 100% and/or 150%.


Notice periods
For employers:
up to 6 months 1 week
more than 6 months 6 weeks
more than 2 years 8 weeks
more than 5 years 13 weeks
more than 15 years 17 weeks
more than 25 years 21 weeks
For employees:
up to 6 months 1 week
more than 6 months 4 weeks

Any claims arising from the employment relationship must be asserted within five months after they arose and/or became known, otherwise the claim expires.
