Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages under the collective agreement and apprenticeship pay by Ø 2,88%


Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: EUR 1,242.38
  • Tasks requiring qualification: EUR 1,318.46 to EUR 1,723.93


Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 704.77
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 886.39
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,081.54


Working time
The regular working time is 40 hours per week.
Supplement for extra hours: usually 50%, during specified times 100%.


Notice periods
For employers and employees: 14 days
after completion of the first year of employment 1 month
after completion of the fifth year of employment 2 months
after completion of the 15th year of employment 3 months
after completion of the 20th year of employment 5 months


Please note: Expiry of claims
Any claims arising from the employment relationship expire 12 months after they arose.
