Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages under the collective agreement and apprenticeship pay by 2.5%


Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: from EUR 1,661.10
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 1,664.49 to EUR 1,879.76
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: from EUR 2,072.99


Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 535.37
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 734.45
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 871.73


Working time
The regular working time is 39 hours per week.
Supplement for extra hours: usually 50%, during specified times 100%.


Notice periods
Notice period according to the length of the employee’s employment period with the company:
  • Employee: from one week as of the end of the working week to six weeks
  • Employer: from one week as of the end of the working week to six weeks


Please note: Expiry of claims
Please note that any and all claims arising from and during the employment relationship with the employer lapse within four months, after termination of the employment relationship, contractual claims to wages lapse within three months unless asserted verbally or in writing. Successful claims lapse unless an action is filed within 6 months since first asserted.
