Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: from EUR 12.15
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 12.18 to EUR 13.75
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: from EUR 15.16

Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 770.00
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 970.00
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,160.00

Working time
regular working time is 39 hours per week
Supplement for extra hours
: usually 50%, during specified times 100%.

Notice periods
Notice period according to the length of the employee’s employment period with the company:
  • Employee
    : from one week as of the end of the working week to four weeks
  • Employer
    : from one week as of the end of the working week to four weeks

Please note: Expiry of claims
Please note that any and all claims arising from and during the employment relationship with the employer
lapse within four months
, after termination of the employment relationship, contractual claims to wages lapse within
three months
unless asserted verbally or in writing. Successful claims lapse unless an action is filed within 6 months since first asserted.
