Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of wages under the collective agreement in all categories by 1.5%
  • Increase of apprenticeship pay by 1.5%

Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: from EUR 1,757.34 to EUR 2,363.73
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 2,812.19 to EUR 3,260.63
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: EUR 3,405.34

Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 843.88
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1.092.41
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,527.60

Working time
The regular working time is 40 hours per week.
Supplement for extra hours: usually 50%, during specified times 100%.

Notice periods
For employers and employees: 14 days
after 1 year of employment 1 month
after 5 years of employment 2 months
after 15 years of employment 3 months

Please note that any claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer must be asserted within six months.

Other results achieved regarding socio-political aspects
  • Bonus payments amounting to 50% of the assessment base per calendar quarter
  • 24 and 31 December are days off work
