Results of the latest round of negotiations
  • Increase of minimum wages under the collective agreement and of apprenticeship pay by 2.5%
  • Actual wages: Overpayments unchanged (parallel adjustment) with the exception of ceramists


Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: from EUR 1,442.45 to EUR 1,930.61
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 1,554.32 to EUR 2,156.04
  • Tasks requiring high qualification: from EUR 1,806.87 to EUR 2,269.61


Apprenticeship pay
Stove fitters, pavers and tilers
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 567.83
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 793.26
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 966.15
4th year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,176.33
ceramists
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 432.23
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 578.00
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 722.07


Working time
The regular working time is 39 hours per week.
Supplement for extra hours: usually 50%, during specified times 100%.


Notice periods
Notice periods according to the length of the employee’s employment period with the company:
  • Employee: from one week to three weeks
  • Employer: from one week to three weeks


Please note: Expiry of claims
Please note that any and all claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer lapse within six months unless asserted in writing. If such claims are denied by the employer, an action must be filed within eight weeks.
Any and all claims arising from the employment relationship with the employer have to asserted and brought before court within six months after termination of the employment relationship.
