  • Favourability principle applied for keeping overpayments unchanged


Minimum wage / minimum salary
  • Simple tasks: from EUR 1,643.28 to EUR 1,843.68
  • Tasks requiring qualification: from EUR 1,967.26 to EUR 2,226.11


Apprenticeship pay
1st year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,000.00
2nd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,100.00
3rd year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,420.00
4th year of apprenticeship: EUR 1,500.00


Supplements and allowances
Allowances related to long-term employment


Working time
The regular working time is 38.5 hours per week.
Supplement for extra hours: usually 50%, during specified times 100% or 150%.


Notice periods
For employers:
up to 6 months 1 week
more than 6 months 6 weeks
more than 2 years 8 weeks
more than 5 years 13 weeks
more than 15 years 17 weeks
more than 25 years 21 weeks
For employees:
up to 6 months 1 week
more than 6 months 4 weeks

Any claims arising from the employment relationship must be asserted within five months after they arose and/or became known, otherwise the claim expires.
